Proliant 2000-01: After discovering Neva I bought lots of stuff, it started with a Bay Networks Hub (24 Ports) to create my own network. After buying my Calcomp Techjet 5536 I bought A calcomp CCL600 (A3 Laser printer, price tag: 7000bfr), this works fine now but I had a hard time attaching it to quite an old print server (Hp Jetdirect EX J2382). Later I bought this Compaq proliant 2000 server (price tag: 15000 bfr, quite much but I wanted to play with the raid controller). It is a pentium 60, 128 Mb Ram, 3 SCSI HD Raid 5 – 4 Gig each, a netflex 2 NIC I am still using it to attach one of my two dat libraries (12 tapes 4/8 Gig) and my Pioneer DRM-5004X CD-Rom jukebox. Later I installed a Miro PCM 1 Pro (Neva: 800 Bfr.) |
