C 128

C 128 - 03

The Commodore 128 was launched in the Las-Vegas Consumer Electronic Show 1985.
It was presented then as a competitor for the Apple Macintosh and IBM PC
(The famous advertisement said "Bad news for Apple and IBM").
In fact, the only star of this show was the Atari 130 ST !

It is the successor of the Commodore 64 and can use all software and lot
of hardware of the C64
(the 8502 can be slowed down 1 MHz for the compatibility).

Thanks to the Z80, the Commodore 128 can run under CP/M + : lots of
software was adapted for this computer and Osborne or Kaypro programs
can run directly.

This machine would have limited acceptance.

C128-03:

Kindly donated by the guy from which I bought the G7000-03 on 04/05/2002
in Berendrecht (near Antwerp).

Came without supplies so I had to use the power supply from C128-01.
