Game Gear - 01 |
In the early 90's, Sega decided that they wanted to produce a portable console to compete with the current systems. Deciding that a color display would be more attractive to gamers then the Game Boy's grey scale display, Sega developed and released the Game Gear in late 1991. The Game Gear was in fact a portable version of the Sega Master System with boosted graphical capabilities. |
